GLP has started work on building a new warehouse, spanning 66,000m², at the Wrocław V Logistics Centre in Magnice, Poland.
The warehouse will feature measures to minimise carbon emissions such as thermal insulation, smart metering systems for real-time energy monitoring, and energy-efficient LED lighting.
It will be designed to accommodate a variety of uses, including secure high stacking, production line installation, and warehouse automation, and have a floor load capacity of up to ten tons per square metre.
The facility will offer tenants access to an enhanced power supply, and its roof structure will be optimised for natural light with a 12.5% glazed area.
The building aims to achieve a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) Outstanding certification.
It will also include Grade A office space and relaxation zones with gazebos, benches, and greenery, alongside parking and facilities for heavy goods vehicle drivers.

“With our final building in the project, we are raising the bar in technical excellence to deliver one of the highest specification logistics facilities in Poland. The location and build quality are expected to drive interest from a wide range of potential tenants from across the logistics and manufacturing sectors.”
