Notably, social responsibility was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2024, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of blockchain and industrial automation, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the construction industry, CRH had the greatest increase in references for social responsibility in Q2 2024, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 133 social responsibility-related sentences in the company's filings - 5% of all sentences - and an increase of 85% in Q2 2024 compared with Q2 2023. Johnson Controls International’s mentions of social responsibility dropped by 5% to 100 and CK Infrastructure’s by 8% to 87 and Pentair’s by 7% to 67.
